Tattnall County is one of the largest, most diversified agricultural counties in Georgia.
It is where over half of the famed Vidalia Onions are grown. Before the onion became famous,
it was the tomato capital of Georgia. It is no secret to those who have experienced it, that
Tattnall County farmers grow some of the best vittles around. There is something truly special
about this soil and climate. There is good reason that Tattnall County is called the "bread basket"
of southeast Georgia.
Farm Fresh Tattnall, Inc. is a new farmer cooperative. It's members are folks that have been
in the roadside market and U-Pick produce business for years. They are genuinely "good ole down home"
farm families that you will enjoy visiting. And the scenery is beautiful too!
